Welcome to Barcado Studios. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the recording, production, rehearsal and studio services we provide.
By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Our Services
Barcado Studios provides professional creative services including, but not limited to:
- Music Recording
- Podcast Recording
- Music Production
- Mixing & Mastering
- Rehearsal Room Hire
- Studio Hire
- Audio Production
- Other services advertised on our website
All services are subject to availability.
3. Bookings
Bookings may be made through our online booking system, by email or by telephone.
To make a booking, you will be asked to select your preferred service, date, time, and payment method.
PayPal Bookings
If you choose PayPal, payment is made securely during the online booking process. Once your payment has been successfully processed, your booking is confirmed, and you will receive confirmation from Barcado Studios.
Pay on Arrival
If you choose Pay on Arrival, no payment is collected during the booking process.
After submitting your booking, please contact Barcado Studios by phone or whatsapp to confirm your booking before travelling to the studio. Our contact details are provided in your booking confirmation and on our Contact page.
Your session is only considered confirmed once you have received confirmation from Barcado Studios.
Barcado Studios reserves the right to decline, reschedule, or cancel a booking where necessary, including where the requested time is no longer available, or incorrect information has been provided.
4. Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Pound Sterling (£).
Prices may change without prior notice. However, once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed price for that booking will not change.
Custom quotations remain valid only for the period stated in the quotation.
5. Payments
We accept payment through the methods made available during the booking process.
PayPal
Payments made via PayPal are processed securely through PayPal’s payment platform during the online booking process.
Pay on Arrival
Customers selecting Pay on Arrival may pay at the studio using one of our accepted payment methods after their booking has been confirmed.
Barcado Studios does not store or have access to your full payment card details. All online payments are processed securely by trusted third-party payment providers.
6. Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund where payment has been made.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session may result in the booking deposit or payment being retained.
- Rescheduling requests are subject to studio availability and should be requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled session, where possible.
If Barcado Studios cancels your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered either:
- a full refund; or
- An alternative booking date at no additional cost.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
7. Late Arrival
Please arrive on time for your booked session.
Late arrival will reduce your available studio time as sessions cannot usually be extended due to other scheduled bookings.
Additional studio time may be available at extra cost, subject to availability.
8. Failure to Attend
If you fail to attend your confirmed booking without prior notice, your booking may be treated as a no-show.
Any deposit or payment already made may be retained in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
9. Client Responsibilities
When using our studio, you agree to:
- provide accurate booking information;
- arrive on time;
- follow all reasonable instructions from studio staff;
- respect our staff, equipment and premises;
- avoid behaviour that is abusive, threatening or disruptive;
- comply with all applicable health and safety requirements.
Barcado Studios reserves the right to end a session without refund where behaviour is unsafe, illegal or abusive.
10. Studio Equipment
All studio equipment remains the property of Barcado Studios.
Clients are responsible for any loss or damage caused through negligence, misuse or deliberate actions by themselves or anyone attending the session with them.
Reasonable wear and tear is excluded.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients retain ownership of the original recordings and creative works they create during their session.
Barcado Studios retains ownership of all website content, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, promotional materials and other intellectual property created by or belonging to the business.
No content from this website may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.
12. Promotional Content
We respect your privacy and creative ownership.
We will not publish, share or use your recordings, photographs or videos for promotional purposes without your prior permission, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
From time to time, access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barcado Studios shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- loss of profits;
- loss of business opportunities;
- loss of income;
- loss of data; or
- delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability arising from any booking shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that booking.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
15. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our:
